The head of the Russian animation giant "Soyuzmultfilm" Yuliana Slashcheva announced the upcoming appearance of Russian President Vladimir Putin as a character in one of the studio's cult animated series, kp.ru reported.
According to Slashcheva, the animated version of the head of state will appear in one of the new episodes of "Prostokvashino". Thus, Vladimir Putin would help promote Russia and its culture in the world.
"The president will appear there, we will draw him. This, of course, will become the most popular soft power that can be anywhere. Matroskin and the president will certainly create a wonderful duet," she said.
The filming of a full-length film based on the animated series "Nu, pogodi!" is also being prepared, the Kinopoisk portal reported.
According to the source, the project being prepared will not be in an animated format, but in a feature format. The companies "Soyuzmultfilm", "Temp" and NTV will work on it. There are no other details about the new version of the popular adventures of the hare and the wolf, but the year of the film adaptation's release is known: 2028.
