US fashion show features clothes made from wool from gay rams

German farm saves gay rams from slaughter

Models wearing wool from gay sheep walked the catwalk in the US.

The wool comes from a farm in Lönne, Germany, where Michael Stücke is saving “gay sheep“ – males who prefer same-sex partners.

According to his company Rainbow Wool, such animals are often slaughtered due to their inability to reproduce.

A knitwear collection by designer Schmidt, using wool from Stücke's farm, was presented in New York.
