Warnings have appeared in Burgas for a brazen snack thief. Hand-written signs in the seaside city warn of a jay that attacks passersby who are eating on the go and snatches the buns directly from their hands, as is clear from posts on social media, which have become a hit.
"Caution, the jay, who regularly sits here, steals snacks from people", reads the warning sign, stuck to a pole in the center of Burgas. On the same sheet there is also a sketch of the jay as if taken from a police chronicle. On another sheet, it is written in large letters "Snack Thief!".
Without an ounce of shyness and seemingly in defiance of warnings, the brazen jay can be seen in a second photo perched right on the pole in question above the warning signs about its thieving habits. The irony in the footage managed to make hundreds of online users laugh, but some Burgas residents who suffered from the jay's predatory beak are not at all amused - on the contrary, they themselves tell how they were left with a finger in their mouth after its raids.
