The leader of the Russian heavy metal group "Corrosion metal" Sergey Troitsky was detained by law enforcement officers.
„I am now detained in Nizhny Novgorod”, Troitsky told TASS, without specifying details.
The group's manager, Maria Runova, told the agency that Troitsky, along with the other musicians, was detained and interrogated in the "Omraza" nightclub. in Nizhny Novgorod, where the band played as part of their tour of Russia. Later, according to her, the leader of the group and other detainees were taken to one of the Nizhny Novgorod police stations.
She also told TASS that they want to sue the leader of the group and two guitarists from the band for propagandizing Nazi symbols. Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (propaganda or public display of Nazi attributes or symbols, or attributes or symbols of extremist organizations, or other attributes or symbols, the propaganda or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws) provides for a maximum penalty administrative arrest for up to 15 days with confiscation, subject to an administrative violation.

Sergei Troitsky, known under the pseudonym Spider, is the creator and leader of the group "Corrosion Metalla". In 2002, a criminal case was opened against him for inciting national hatred, in the fall of 2003, the musician was forcibly examined at the National Medical Research Center for Psychiatry and Narcology.
