As FACTI has already reported, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is on an official visit to China. Those invited to the state reception on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping, including the high-ranking guest, were treated to local dishes, TASS reported.
The menu includes freshwater toothless clams in duck broth, Peking duck, steamed sea cucumbers with onions, vegetables in snail sauce, grouper /one of the most carnivorous bony fish in the ocean/ in shrimp broth.
There are also other traditional delicacies. These include fried chumiza (cereal), shrimp dumplings, sweet mung bean cake, vanilla mousse, fruit and ice cream.
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available to guests. Coffee, tea, Chinese wines and the strong alcoholic drink Maotai are served.
