Replace sweetened energy drinks with water

They only work for a few hours and contain a lot of sugar, experts advise

Sweetened energy drinks only provide a burst of energy for a short time, instead it is better to drink a glass of plain water or go for a walk, advises GP and surgeon Zoe Williams. She listed these and some other simple but effective ways to perk up to The Sun.

Williams urged against using energy drinks to boost activity, as they only last for a few hours and also contain a lot of sugar. Instead, she recommended trying healthier options. According to her, walks in the fresh air and a glass of water can help to quickly revive. You can also get an energy boost by eating foods rich in fiber, which is digested slowly and helps avoid spikes in blood sugar, Williams says.

If a person feels constantly tired and exhausted for a long time and the listed methods do not give results, medical help should be sought, the therapist concluded.

According to experts, a non-obvious cause of constant weakness and fatigue may be insufficient water intake.
