It seems that the ongoing tension between Ralf Schumacher and his ex-wife Cora is not going to stop anytime soon, and now her mother is getting involved in the matter, writes . Back in July, the former F1 driver revealed to the world that he was gay through an Instagram post with partner Etienne Bousquet-Cassan.
"The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side, with whom you can share everything", wrote Ralph, conveyed lifestyle.bg, cited by varna24.bg.
Schumacher and his ex-wife Cora split in 2015 and she claims the news came as a shock to her and that she "felt used" from her ex-husband. The story continued earlier in the week when Ralph shared screenshots of an alleged conversation between Cora and Etienne that demonstrated (at least in words) how happy Cora is for the couple. However, Cora stated that the conversation was "her last attempt to at least get the truth out of him".
Now Cora's mother, Ingrid Brinkman, has shared her thoughts, backing up her daughter's claims that Cora was unaware of Ralph's sexuality. "I feel sorry for Cora and how she is now publicly insulted and portrayed as a liar,", Ingrid told Bild.
Ralph's ex-mother-in-law confirms Cora's previous comments in which she said there were many allegations about Ralph's sexual orientation during his F1 career. "I asked him to clarify if the rumors were true, but he always denied it," Cora says of Ralph, "telling me that I was imagining everything and that maybe I needed psychological help."
Brinkman adds that during their marriage she talked to Ralph about the matter. "I spoke to Ralph and asked him if he had any problems and if there was anything he needed to tell me. He sat across from me and said, "Ingrid, I'm telling you, I'm definitely not gay. These are just rumours," reveals the mother-in-law.
She adds that Cora and Ralph had a strong relationship when they married in 2001, with her daughter loving the F1 driver with all her heart. "Cora married Ralph out of love,", she says, and continues: "Ralph also told us he loved Cora. Of course they had sex with Cora. That's why we all thought it was just a rumor that Ralph was gay."
Ralph and Cora have a son together, David, who, according to Brinkman, was conceived "without artificial insemination". Although Ralph continues to be in a relationship with David, it is believed that Cora has been estranged from her son for some time, writes Marca.
