A vote of no confidence against the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov No. 5. Submitted by PP-DB, supported by MECH and APS, with the expected participation of “Vazrazhdane“ and “Velichye“. Will this vote of no confidence be different from the other four that have been held so far… No. Is failure a foregone conclusion? Rather – yes. If the leader of “DPS-New Beginning” Delyan Peevski does not decide otherwise. Why? Because neither GERB, nor BSP (according to the latest sociological survey, they are at 5% in new elections and are on the verge of entering parliament), nor ITN (according to the same survey, they are 3% and are under the line to enter the parliament) intend to take a step aside. They simply have no advantage. So everything depends on the leader of “DPS-New Beginning“ Delyan Peevski. The question before him is one - when will he feel that his party has stabilized enough, has consolidated enough in places - we see that regional governors of GERB are also switching to his party to ask for more confidence in the elections. He feels good even now, since he is not officially part of the government, but he is an unavoidable factor in the cabinet. So with “DPS-New Beginning“ there is no rush for elections, because it still needs time to consolidate.
Otherwise, the vote will be unsuccessful, it is more than expected, but let's not necessarily say that it will be so. Someone from the ruling party (we include “DPS-New Beginning“) may change his mind.
The vote is expected to gather more votes than the previous ones, which practically means the entire opposition (without “DPS-New Beginning“).
The big question, when the topic of a vote of no confidence is discussed and raised, is what happens if it succeeds? Do the parties that are now asking for a vote of no confidence provide a new management alternative. Rather - no. Then why do they do it…

We had a successful vote of no confidence 3 years ago, when Kiril Petkov's cabinet fell. How did that happen? With the votes of GERB, DPS, "Vazrazhdane" and "Ima takvi narod", which were part of the cabinet. Then ITN left the cabinet, and now will they ask!? And then the parties that brought down the cabinet did it for sports, just like that, because they had no clear plan “then where and how”. No government was formed in either the same or the next parliament. But ITN did it. With what motives, only they know.
