The three interviews that Borisov recently gave to supposedly “opposition“ media are a brilliant move by Pi Ar Sevi, as the former prosecutor general recorded it on his phone.

I suppose it happened like this: they were discussing how to advertise for the upcoming elections and Pi Ar Sevi said to Boyko: “why don't you give interviews to “Capital“, Dachkov and Karbovski. Because the other media are clear – they sing hymns about you from morning till night. But these are playing the opposition and it will be interesting for people if you appear right there“.

This was commented on “Facebook” by Ivo Siromakhov.

“Great idea. I'll crush them“, said Borisov. “Call them and arrange interviews for me. Make sure they're at least two hours long, so I can tell you everything“.

Said and done, and here Borisov is with the “opposition“ media.

Older, fatter, more tired, but the old lion is still growling, just like he lies in the heat under the cozy spotlights of “opposition“ journalism.

It's logical that there should be interest in these interviews. The audience expects to see some kind of confrontation. To see how these terrible oppositionists will sit down opposite the tyrant and tell him everything they've said about him over the years.

However, Borisov immediately eats up the interviewers, leads into the trap of „of „you“ or of „you“. And suddenly the harsh journalists begin to tremble from the trembling of their scratched ego: „oh, there was no need, but okay, come on „you“…

Suddenly they have become important. God-fearing.

Without feeling that in this way they are destroying the obligatory boundary that should stand between the journalist and the politician. It is unacceptable for them to be on the same team. Unless they want to be the new Hekimyan. And maybe that is exactly what they want…

From there on it is easy. Borisov swims in his own waters and takes out the bag of lies and boasts - what he built, how many kilometers of highways, how he brought Bulgaria into the EU and NATO (I can't remember what it is his merit for this, but no problem, because the “opposition“ journalists don't think to ask him), how he made us rich and successful. But ungrateful! The Bulgarian people do not appreciate his enormous merits. And this is his great sorrow.

“Opposition“ journalists nod sympathetically. They are already on his side.

Is the man right, is it easy to live among this ungrateful people? This people also owe them much more recognition and money, but shut up, heart…

Borisov's lies are pouring out like a waterfall - highways, economic growth, prosperity, all world leaders are his friends… and the “opposition“ journalists listen to him with rapture.

They don't think to ask him what happened to Misho Birata, to Vanyo Tanov, with Alexey Petrov. These questions are probably forbidden.

And maybe they aren't, but there's still a risk that Pi Ar Sevi will get offended and interrupt the interview. And it's going so well...

And the lies and empty phrases continue to pour out, Borisov enters his favorite role, gets angry, shouts to look scary. He knows that the aunties from the GERB electorate adore “bad boys“. Boyko reminds the aunties of their first husband, whom they divorced because he beat them. But how much he loved them! Eh...

And the “opposition“ journalists imperceptibly resemble these aunties. By the end of the interview, they are already in love with Boyko and don't want it to end, they don't want it to end... Stay a little longer, please, let me hugs…

But he has to leave to build for the Motherland, and leaves an incurable emptiness in the hearts of the “opposition“.

Until next week.

When Rumen Radev will be their guest.
