The problem with the Child Protection Agency has two dimensions, at least in my experience. One is an institutional and legal arrangement, because there is an agency, but there are no territorial structures, they are under another agency, this one is social assistance. Legally, the authority is the chairwoman of the Child Protection Agency - Mrs. Ivanova.
The other dimension is that the inspections ordered are usually formal and documentary and do not lead to anything. This was told to Lili Marinkova in the FACTI studio by lawyer Plamen Borisov about the Child Protection Agency.
Along with the “Petrohan“ case, many shortcomings of the child protection system emerged. Here again the question of the boundary of parental rights and responsibilities and state interference in them is raised.
What else did lawyer Borisov say, see in the VIDEO.
