On the occasion of the scandalous scene with a native, African flavor - Radev with a huge motorcade blocks Varna - it is worth saying only one thing: outrageous!
On a personal level, it shows that Radev suffers from obvious complexes and unhealthy Balkan Bonapartism. He has a drive for power that is not due to him and was not given to him by the people and the Constitution.
This was commented on "Facebook" by the lecturer in constitutional law, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Borislav Tsekov.
On the other hand, what we see with these primitive performances with giant motorcades, traffic jams, is regrettable. Neither Mr. Radev is that important, nor do such demonstrations have a place in Bulgaria. At one time we were outraged by the communist nomenclature and its cortege and stations.
Now we see Radev's performances. And here I want to emphasize that what he is doing with this vacation in a private complex of his friends raises the question of whether these friends participated in financing his campaign. From there, it's already a conflict of interest and so on.
Because friends and campaign financing are one thing, it's another for a sitting head of state to go to such a private complex. The question now arises as to who covers the expenses, etc., etc.
Obviously, the call "Light, more light" does not apply to the presidency, which is one of the most opaque institutions under Radev's rule. It is a black box - unaccountable and irresponsible to the citizens.
