Ursula looks like a general preparing for a past war, as an old army joke goes. Of course, this hardly worries her at all - for her, the most important thing is that business goes well. She came to inspect the military factories in Sopot, and among other idle chatter, she soaked us hard: “A third of the weapons for Ukraine came from Bulgaria“. After this completely unnecessary boast, the Russians have pulled us up on their list of hostile countries like nothing - in second place, right after Ukraine.

There were times when it was indecent to brag about how many weapons - how much death! - you produce and to whom you provide them, but those are gone. Ursula even thanked for the "pleasure" - that's exactly the word she used - that she was shown our factories, looked at the various gadgets and felt real pleasure. And she has seven children and a person, as long as he is still somewhat old-fashioned, will think that completely different things give her pleasure. But that's what this general of ours, this Mrs. Thanatos of ours - the "commoner" to think about it, as long as he is still able to do it, at least from time to time.

As is customary, they throw a few crumbs of Truth at him: they tell him that it is fortunate that the largest gunpowder plant was built here, according to the idea of the powerful German company “Rheinmetall“ - and that this would increase Europe's defense capabilities, we will think about ours another time - perhaps when Ursula announces the full list of weapons with which we have loaded Ukraine - with the cheap tricks of black marketeers and without the sanction of Parliament, without even being notified.

Ursula did not bother to explain to us how we would defend ourselves more successfully if we produced more gunpowder and used it against a country armed to the teeth with nuclear weapons. Hypocrisy is clearly the second pleasure she succumbs to.

But let's not burden Ursula with unnecessary reasoning - at least to this day she is simply a Death Lawyer and this role does not bother her at all.

The footage from Trump's meeting with the European "leaders" was remarkable, it is difficult to forget their faces when the American president convinced them that the war must end. Ursula, the main arms broker today, was the most shocked.

On the other hand, perhaps History itself is pushing us towards this adventure with the factory - if we remember that the Balkans have always been the "powder keg of Europe". And one more factory will only fuel this disaster…

Even the “common people“, who otherwise love illuminations, guess about this and say that we can't save a fireworks factory – for example, the one in Elin Pelin, which was still smoking until recently - what's left for the largest gunpowder factory. And the common people say something else, because Life usually beats them: Düsseldorf, the headquarters of “Rheinmetall“, is also a good place for a Bulgarian-German gunpowder factory, a more orderly place, more civilized.

Although, if he feels like it, Putin can also indulge in Düsseldorf, and Ursula also hinted at it in Sopot: “Putin won't stop…“, that's what she said. It seems certain that only our gunpowder can stop it.

And we, if we daydream for a moment like idiots, who, in fact, have no control over anything, might finally catch a thought that keeps slipping away from us: don't we need a European Union in which even weaklings like us, who were brought in for the needs of the masses, feel equal to the rest - especially when we are all faced with a difficult choice?

While we wait for the answer, let's do some calculations about the Plant - the authorities still don't have time for such activities, they see them as unnecessary, they spit out their pencils for something else: the plant will cost us about half a billion euros, secured by a loan of three billion under the SAIF security mechanism, which, of course, we have to pay back; in the joint venture, "Rheinmetall" will have a say, because it also has a larger shareholding; the plant will provide - at least such are the hopes - a thousand new jobs; it will be built in Sopot - there they will think about the ecological challenges, to put it politely, that accompany such a facility. The state will take care of this, just as much as it takes care of the victims of the Water Genocide, which is already on its way to turning Bulgaria into a Wasteland.

Ursula was amazed by the capabilities of our military plants. However, it is time for her to also be amazed by the state of the Bulgarian army and especially our aviation - she is very likely to think that we are well armed with one and a half F-16s, it is not even appropriate to talk about the other possessions of our army.

And then why shouldn't the aborigines be happy with at least one gunpowder factory - just to cover up the disgrace that today the Bulgarian Army has negligible defense capabilities, if it has any at all - and without having lost any war, except for the defeat ensured on paper by the clown Gorbachev.

As paradoxical as it may seem, Ursula has also suffered from our forced disarmament - Can you imagine what kind of business he would have done if this hadn't happened…

Wikipedia, reference for the Armed Forces of the People's Republic of Bulgaria:

„Bulgaria is a Soviet ally, it is part of the Eastern Bloc and is included in the Warsaw Pact as one of its founders.

Military service is mandatory.

A special defensive line, known as the "King Marko" Defensive Line, was built along the entire border with Turkey.

A significant military-industrial complex was created, which produces armored vehicles, self-propelled artillery, light small arms and ammunition, spare parts.

Training in the Bulgarian People's Army is exhausting even for Soviet standards.

The army is armed with over 2,000 tanks and over 2,000 armored personnel carriers.

The Missile Forces are on combat duty: 8 R-400 (SS 23) complexes with a range of 480 km, armed with 24 additional missiles, all capable of carrying nuclear warheads; 50 R-300 "Elbrus" (Scud) complexes with a range of 300 km; and about 100 more complexes and installations with different purposes.

The Air Force has 45 combat helicopters and over 300 modern combat aircraft, of which over 220 are fighters.

The Navy has 2 destroyers, 3 patrol ships, 1 frigate, 1 missile corvette, 4 submarines, 6 missile boats, 6 torpedo boats, 12 submarine chasers, a total of several dozen minelayers, base and raid minesweepers, patrol ships, landing ships, service ships, cutters, etc.; coastal missile systems and coastal artillery, a naval helicopter squadron, naval aviation with 10 combat and 1 transport aircraft.

The peacetime composition of the army in 1989 was over 153,000 people, the mobilization capacity of Bulgaria at that time, according to the CIA, exceeded 2.11 million men.

By the way, Ursula has completely beaten him to it, at least in her unbridled chatter. Our ProstoKircho, who until recently was a champion in this regard, is certainly already envious of her linguistic excesses. These days she blurted out that Ukraine should become a “steel hedgehog, indigestible for the invaders“ – with such talk, the Ursulas will drive Zelensky completely crazy. Maybe the next plant they will reward us with will be for the production of indigestible hedgehogs…

Many stories were told on television, a lot of gunpowder went to waste – but only once, in the continuation of the central news on BTV, did they think of asking whether the gunpowder plant would not make us more vulnerable. The visiting, former deputy minister, can never understand what he is actually being asked - because the question of someone's vulnerability, outside of his own, care and even fear for others is outside the universe of our politicians.

That's how they are set up – outside the common, outside the others - they don't care, they don't even exist for them…

The US Embassy in Sofia will invest $240,000 in Varna. The funds are under the so-called Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) and will go towards the repair and renovation of the former gunpowder warehouse in Varna, known as ReBonkers, which has been converted into a cultural center.
