Lawyer, who is not from Ruse – will you defend me!?

The case, the incident, the fight or whatever they will do in Ruse with the four accused young men from what happened to the director of the Ministry of Interior’s Regional Office – Ruse Senior Commissioner Nikolay Kozhuharov, causes many defensive reactions from society. In this sense, the Ministry of Interior – fears or respects!? What is the role of the police – to ensure the security of society, or to make it subordinate to the epaulettes!?

The incident itself is unpleasant, a fact. But it exposes small and large weaknesses of society. Come on, if we are talking about a city like Ruse, where about 140,000 people live. Why? Because in such a city, the average person has not only a personal problem, he has a social problem, an institutional problem, a police problem, a neighbor problem, a court problem, a legal problem and whatever other problem you can think of.

It even went so far as to assure the public of its objectivity, justice and impartiality.

The management of the institution guarantees that justice is administered in full accordance with the law, respecting the rights and legitimate interests of all parties in the process. Trust in the court is trust in the principles of the rule of law.“

And while the court in Ruse explains to us that it is impartial, the family of Julien - one of the accused young men, insists that the case be heard in another city. “We want it to be heard in Veliko Tarnovo, everyone here is addicted, we had many refusals. We can't even find a lawyer," says Aysun Shabanov, a relative of the accused, Julien Kyazamov.

"We want the truth to come out, fair justice," says Suleiman Suleimanov, Julien's father. So people are looking for one lawyer - refusal. A second lawyer - refusal. A third lawyer - refusal. But this is not just a problem in Ruse. This is a practice in every city in the country where people know each other and when a high-ranking public figure is involved.
