Arsenal achieved a classic 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in a home match from the fourth round of the English Premier League. For the first time, new signing Eberechi Eze started for the hosts.
Two goals for the team from North London were scored by Spanish international Martin Subimendi, and one was added by the new striker of the "gunners" Victor Gokeres.
Arsenal opened the scoring after half-time. Then Subimendi scored from extra time, driving the ball into the centre of the goal behind goalkeeper Mats Sels.
Ebereci Eze provided a perfect assist early in the second half, and Gökeres scored from close range to make it 2-0.
Ten minutes before the end of regular time, Leandro Trossar crossed, and Subimendi scored his second goal of the match with a powerful header into the top right corner of the goal.
On Tuesday, Arsenal will visit Athletic Bilbao in their opening game of this year's Champions League.
