Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe spoke after the visit against Real Sociedad (2:1) in the 4th round of the Spanish championship, BTA reported.
„We knew that this would be a difficult match and a test of what level we are at this stage of the season. We started the match very well, then we received a red card, which changed the situation a little, but we held on. We return to Madrid with three points and first place in the table“, Mbappe was quoted by Real's press service.
The footballer also commented on his goal and assist in this match: „It is important for me to always be useful to the team. I try to give my best for the club and the fans. Now I scored in my typical way, but without my teammates I wouldn't have been able to show my best qualities. I feel very comfortable in this team“.
Real Madrid lead the La Liga standings with 12 points.
