CSKA coach Dushan Kerkez made a sharp statement in response to the former owner of Tsarsko Selo Stoine Manolov, who said this week that the Serb is not a good coach. The leader of the "reds" said that he spoke like that because he was unable to arrange his son-in-law - Georgi Minchev, to CSKA, Sportal.bg reported.

"Many people don't want me to be here, do you know why? Because agents can't work with me. That's what I can say. I'm just surprised that a man, the owner of Tsarsko Selo, is talking about me. Let me say something too. I have respect for his son-in-law, you know who he is - Minchev. I said a lot of nice things about him before he went to AEL Limassol. Up until now, he hasn't said anything. Minchev didn't come here because they offered him to me and I said "no". Not because he's a bad player, but because we got Godoy, we have Pitas and Bornosuzov. They're at a good level for now.

And then this guy says I'm not a good coach. Do you know why? Ask why? Years ago, when I saw how Bulgaria works with Tsarsko Selo, it's a shame for Bulgaria.

Should I say something about him now because he comes out and talks about me? I'm not talking to look for an alibi.

I'm here because the owner trusts me. And these people want someone else to be here to bring in a player. I have nothing to do with agents. I haven't brought in a single player with my agent.

I don't care that he has millions. He can't talk like that. I said a lot of good things about his son-in-law and AEL signed him because of my name. You know how many years I was at this club. "He should be ashamed," Kerkez said heatedly.
