Ivaylo Petev has been sacked by UAE team Bani Yass for poor results, the club announced on social media. The former national team and Ludogorets coach has recorded five losses and one draw in the UAE Championship and the League Cup tournament and failed to achieve a single victory, BTA adds.
"Bani Yas Football Club announces the dismissal of head coach Ivaylo Petev, expressing its gratitude and appreciation for his efforts during his tenure at the club and wishing him success in his future career," the club wrote in its statement.
