Elizara Yaneva won the international women's clay tennis tournament in Pazardzhik, which has a prize fund of 40 thousand dollars. The competition was held at the Favorite Tennis Center, BTA reports. The 18-year-old Bulgarian defeated the third-seeded Selena Yanichievich (France) in the final with 7:5, 6:3 in 1:45 hours.

The two exchanged two breaks to 5:5 in the first set, after which Yaneva took her opponent's serve in the 12th game and took the lead in the result. In the second half, the Bulgarian dominated, winning the first three games, after which her lead reached 5:2 and she easily closed the match with her third match point.

Elizara Yaneva played in her third final in tournaments on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit this season and won her third title. She took two consecutive trophies in February in Manacor (Spain).

Next week, Pazardzhik will host another ITF women's tournament with a prize pool of 40 thousand dollars.
