Olympiacos defeated Panionios 81:66 (19:22, 23:15, 18:8, 21:21) as the host in a match from the third round of the Greek men's basketball championship, BTA reported.

The success was the third in a row for Olympiacos, which leads the provisional standings, while Panionios is at the bottom of the standings with three consecutive losses.

The hosts led 42:37 at the break, and after a convincing third quarter they pulled ahead 60:45.

The most valuable player for the victory was Donta Hall with 16 points and 7 rebounds, and Evan Fournier returned to the game for Olympiacos after an injury. Michalis Luntzis had 20 points and 7 rebounds for the visitors.

Vezenkov and his teammates will face German team Bayern Munich in the Euroleague on October 24, and two days later they will visit Mykonos in a Greek league match.
