CSKA achieved its second victory of the season in the efbet League after a difficult 1:0 victory in the away game against Dobrudzha in a match from the 12th round of the championship.
Ioannis Pitas scored the only goal before the break, but despite winning three points, the "reds" again disappointed with their game against the last team in the table, as in the second half Dobrudzha had several situations with which it was close to an equalizing goal.
The victory is the first for CSKA in the championship under the leadership of the new coach Hristo Yanev and moved the team to eighth place in the standings with 13 points. Dobrudzha remains in last place in the standings with 7 points.
CSKA controlled the initiative in the first half and managed to pull away with a goal lead at the break with a goal by Ioannis Pitas in the 17th minute. James Eto'o brought the Cypriot national team alone against the goalkeeper and he put the ball in the net.
Dobrudzha equalized the game in the second half, even dominating for long periods and twice having the visitors' goalkeeper Fyodor Lapouhov intervene after shots by Anton Ivanov and Lucas Cardozo.
"The Reds" held their fragile lead until the end, but with their performances they did not convince their supporters that they were getting out of the game crisis they have been in since the beginning of the season.
