Belgium failed to beat Kazakhstan away

The Belgians will play at home against Liechtenstein on November 18 in their final match of the qualifiers

Belgium drew 1-1 away to Kazakhstan in a match from the "J" qualifying group for the 2026 World Cup. The "Red Devils" remain in first place with 15 points, 2 ahead of the Republic of North Macedonia, BTA reported.

Dastan Satpaev opened the scoring for the hosts in the ninth minute, but Hans Vanaken equalized three minutes after the break.

Islam Chesnokov received a red card in the 79th minute, but the Belgians could not take advantage of their numerical superiority and made mistakes in front of the hosts' goal. Temirlan Amarbekov made key saves after being hit by Belgian attackers.

Kazakhstan are unbeaten in three matches and are fourth in the standings with 8 points. The Belgians will play at home against Liechtenstein on November 18 in their final match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
