Marco Bedzecki led from start to finish and won the Valencia Grand Prix race in the 22nd and final round of the Moto GP motorcycle championship. The 27-year-old Italian secured a second consecutive victory for the Aprilia team for the first time, BTA reported.

Last week, Bedzecki won the Portuguese Grand Prix convincingly, and now he repeated his strong performance in Valencia, celebrating his success on his knees in front of his beloved motorcycle.

Raul Fernandez of Trackhouse became Bedzecki's runner-up to secure Aprilia first and second places, while Fabio di Gianantonio of BP46 Racing managed to get to third position, overtaking Pedro Acosta of KTM at the very end of the race to ensure that a Ducati motorcycle will finish on the podium again.

The "Ricardo Tormo" hosted a MotoGP race for the first time since 2023, after last season's finale was postponed due to catastrophic flooding in the region that claimed the lives of more than 200 people.

Ducati rider Francesco Banaia's mediocre season ended on the first lap after just four corners when he crashed.

2025 "royal class" champion Marc Marquez, who has seven MotoGP titles, was out of the final races of the season for the Ducati team due to injury. Alex Marquez finished second in the general classification, with Marco Bedzecki third.
