Adrian Sutil arrested on suspicion of fraud

Adrian Sutil, a former Formula 1 driver, has been arrested. He is suspected of fraud and grand larceny, the newspaper “Bild“ and BTA reported. According to the source, several people, including the 42-year-old German, were arrested by the police in Baden-Württemberg as part of the investigation, which was conducted in Monaco, Switzerland and Germany.

Sutil competed in Formula 1 from 2006 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2014, driving for Spyker, Force India and Sauber in different seasons.

His best result was fourth place at the 2009 Italian Grand Prix.
