The Brazilian favorite of Levski fans has sought a conversation with the club's management to discuss possible opportunities to play for “Gerena“ again. As is known, the striker was sold to the Japanese Gamba Osaka at the beginning of last year for the serious sum of 3 million euros.
However, his career there did not go very well, and this year is shaping up to be the worst for him. In the first half, Welton did not play due to a serious injury, and only at the end of May did he record his first minutes as a substitute. Subsequently, he played in 14 J. League matches, but in none of them was he on the field for a full 90 minutes. In early October, he suffered a new injury that has kept him out of action to this day.
