Vincent Kriechmeier wins super G in Beaver Creek

Vincent Kriechmeier won the super G in Beaver Creek, USA. The Austrian achieved a time of 1:06.77 seconds and overtook Norwegian Fredrik Møller by 56 hundredths. Rafael Haaser, also from Austria, was third, 1:03 seconds behind the winner, BTA reports.

Dominique Paris was fourth, followed by Marco Odermatt, the four-time World Cup champion who won the downhill in Beaver Creek on Thursday.

The race was delayed by an hour due to fog and interrupted by heavy snowfall. Despite his fifth place, Odermatt remains in the lead in the overall standings with 345 points. Kriechmeier is now second with 227, Haaser is third with 178. The men's races at Beaver Creek conclude with a giant slalom on Sunday.
