Barcelona's sporting director Deco gave clarity on several important topics related to the club's players. In an interview, he touched on the future of Eric Garcia, Robert Lewandowski, Rafinha and Ronald Araujo.
„The renewal of Eric Garcia's contract is excellent news. He has completely turned the situation around. He is only 24 years old, he gives a lot to the team and he never complains“ explained Deco.
Regarding Robert Lewandowski, the director said that the player has a contract and is one of the best strikers in recent years, but nothing has been decided and it is still early.
“Rafinha is a special and very important player for us. He brings enthusiasm to the team and has earned the respect of the fans. Flick gives him a lot of confidence“, added Deco.
“I don't want to talk about the Araujo topic. I spoke to him and for me the matter is closed”, added the boss, thus shedding some clarity on Barca's plans for next season, which promise stability for some, but also pause and reflection for others.
