Arda (Kardzhali) defeated Loko (Pd) as a guest 2:0 in a match from the 19th round of the First Football League. The team from Kardzhali achieved the victory over "Lauta" with its only two accurate shots in the match, which Patrick Luan and Felix Eboa Eboa converted into goals in the first half, BTA reports. The match started excellently for the guests from Kardzhali, who took the lead in the score in the ninth minute. Svetoslav Kovachev brought Patrick Luan from the right behind the Lokomotiv defense and the Brazilian finished right into the near corner of Boyan Milosavljevic to give his team the lead with his debut goal for Arda.
In the 18th minute, Parviz Umarbaev crossed sharply into Arda's penalty area, but Juan Perea and Sevi Idriz missed the ball and failed to intercept. Nine minutes later, the "railroad team" organized a quick counterattack, in which Juan Perea interacted with Catalin Itu, whose shot from close range was blocked, however.
Exactly after half an hour of play, the hosts got their first accurate shot. Perea sent it with an aerial performance that fell right into the hands of Anatoly Gospodinov.
In the 40th minute, Arda's goalkeeper had a key intervention to preserve his team's lead. After a mix-up on a corner kick, the ball fell comfortably to Katalin Itu, who attempted an acrobatic overhead shot, but Gospodinov was on hand to block.
In the fifth minute of added time in the first half, Alexander Tunchev's players scored a second goal. Felix Eboa Eboa was dropped by Lokomotiv's defense on a corner kick and scored from close range for 0:2. With this score, the break came.
Nine minutes after the restart of play in the second half, Sevi Idriz shot dangerously with his head after a soft pass from a foul by Umarbayev, but Anatoly Gospodinov parried. Shortly after, Juan Perea also had a chance to head a shot from the edge of the goal area, which flew wide of the goal.
The following minutes were spent trying to pressure their opponent in search of a goal, but Dušan Kosić's players had difficulty finding the right solutions in attack and did not reach the positions in front of Arda's goal.
In the 85th minute, Julien Lamy fired a long-range shot that went over the crossbar. Five minutes later, at the other goal, Dimitar Velkovski's shot from about 25 meters also missed the target. In the added time of the match, Atanas Kabov came out alone against Boyan Milosavljevic, but was delayed and was unable to finish.
