Aston Villa beat Arsenal in added time

Arsenal lost 1:2 away to Aston Villa in Birmingham. This was the first loss for the "gunners" in the last 19 matches in all competitions, reports BTA.
The London team started the match more actively, as after a quarter of the game a shot by Bukayo Saka hit the right post, and a little later a goal by Eberechi Eze was canceled due to offside. Aston Villa opened the scoring with one of their few chances, as in the 36th minute Matty Cash jumped out at the back post and with a powerful diagonal shot made it 1:0.

Mikel Arteta's team rushed after the break for a turnaround, with first Leandro Trossar and Bukayo Saka making the pass, before Belgian international Trossar equalized in the 52nd minute from close range.

Then Arsenal goalkeeper Davia Raya made an incredible save against Ollie Watkins from the home team. Donyell Malen and Jan Maatsen also missed for Aston Villa. This led to the fourth minute of added time, when, in an exceptional melee and several opportunities, the ball reached Emiliano Buendia, who with a powerful shot from close range scored under the crossbar of David Raya's goal.
