The President of the Bulgarian Football Union Georgi Ivanov welcomes those present at the traditional Veterans' Christmas Lunch, which the BFU organizes annually in honor of the great figures who built the glorious history of Bulgarian football.
On the eve of the brightest holidays, the event brought together a number of the most deserving personalities in domestic football - generations of players who left a bright mark both in their club teams and on the international stage. The president of the football headquarters congratulated the legends and wished them health, longevity and many occasions for joy in the coming year 2026.
The ceremonial lunch was attended by emblematic names in the history of our national team and our leading clubs, including Dimitar Penev, Voin Voinov, Andrey Zhelyazkov, Georgi Velinov, Stefan Aladzhov, Boycho Velichkov, Plamen Nikolov, Ivaylo Georgiev, Angel Kolev, Chavdar Tsvetkov, Georgi Bonev, Mladen Vassilev, Yordan Stoykov, Krasimir Borisov, Petar Petrov, Georgi Tsvetkov, Angel Stankov, Boris Angelov, Emil Spasov and others.
