The BFU Disciplinary Committee severely punished Botev Plovdiv head coach Dimitar Dimitrov, Topsport reported.
Just a few weeks after his return to Bulgarian football, Hero received a ban from performing his functions for 3 matches and a fine of 3,000 leva.
The reason is that the specialist insulted officials during the match with Lokomotiv Sofia.
Hero will still be able to appeal the decision to the Appeals Committee within seven days.
Here is what the DK wrote:
For insults to an official, on the basis of Art. 34, para. 1, item 5, item 9, proposal 4 of the DP /2025/2026/ - DK punishes Dimitar Dimitrov - senior coach of PFC "Botev" Plovdiv with a ban on performing functions for 3 matches and a fine in the amount of 3000 leva
The decision is subject to appeal before the Appeals Commission within 7 /seven/ days of notification.
