Inter Miami and Argentine national team forward Lionel Messi will unveil a monument to himself in India, Topsport reported.
The 38-year-old footballer will be in India for a three-day visit. A series of events will take place in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. He will be joined by Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
In Kolkata, Messi will unveil a monument to himself - it is over 20 meters high. Fans will also be able to visit the Argentine's fan zone, where a life-size sculpture of the footballer is depicted on a throne. The room is decorated with replicas of his trophies.
Messi's home in Miami has also been recreated, with mannequins of the player and his family placed on the balcony.
