Thanks to the success, the "yellow-blacks" climbed at least temporarily to second place alone with six points behind the leader Bayern (Munich). The opponent from Gladbach remained in the lower half of the table and is currently closer to the relegation zone than to the places that give the right to participate in European club tournaments.
