According to the study, Real Madrid is officially the football club with the most shirts sold in the world for the last 12 months. “The White Ballet“ has achieved a total of 3,133,000 sales for 2025, although the study was completed in November and covers the calendar year.
This is the first time in the history of football that a club has exceeded the 3 million team sales mark.
The battle of “El Clasico“ is also reflected in the sales rankings. Barcelona takes second place with 2,940,000 shirts sold, and the top three is completed by the French Paris Saint-Germain with 2,546,000. The top ten of the best-selling clubs is dominated by European giants such as Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea, but Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr is also present.
An interesting turn is observed in the individual rankings of football players. Despite Real Madrid's dominance as a team, the best-selling jersey of a specific player does not belong to their star, but to the young Barcelona phenomenon - Lamine Yamal. Sales with the Spaniard's name are 1,320,000. In second place is Lionel Messi with 1,280,000 sales and Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski with 1,110,000 sales.
