Forward Mohamed Salah has apologized to his teammates at the English football club Liverpool for the interview he gave two weeks ago. This was revealed by midfielder Curtis Jones, quoted by Sky Sports, BTA reported.

Salah has shocked the football world by saying that he feels betrayed by Liverpool and that someone wants to remove him from the team. However, Jones said yesterday that this did not affect the atmosphere in the dressing room, but the Egyptian nevertheless apologized.

"Mo is also a person and can say whatever he wants. "He has apologised to anyone who felt offended," Jones said.

Salah made the controversial comments after a draw with Leeds on 6 December, after which he was dropped from Liverpool's squad for the Champions League clash with Inter Milan. The striker later had a private chat with manager Arne Slott and was reinstated in the squad to record an assist in a win against Brighton. After that match, Salah left for the Africa Cup of Nations.
