National player Venislav Antov and the Turcoa team recorded their 11th victory in the French volleyball championship, BNT reported.
Dorian Rougeiron's team defeated Cannes 3:2 (25:23, 25:16, 23:25, 18:25, 15:8) in a match from the 12th round of the Marmara Spike Ligue.
Venislav Antov played another strong match for Turcoa and was second in scoring with 20 points (1 ace, 2 blocks). Ignacio Luengas scored 22 points and was named MVP of the game.
For Cannes, Xander Keczynski scored 23 (1 ace, 2 blocks), while Theo Mouwinkel scored 14 points (1 block).
Turquoise regained the lead in the provisional standings with 29 points after 11 wins and 1 loss, but before the match between Tours and Sete.
In the next 13th round, Venislav Antov's team meets Poitiers, on December 30 (Tuesday) at 9:00 p.m. ET.
