Former CSKA midfielder Marcelino Careasso has become a concrete option for Levski's winter selection, Gong.bg reported. The 26-year-old footballer is a free agent after leaving Cypriot Apollon Limassol at the beginning of the year.
Negotiations have already been held with him, and his transfer to "Gerena" is becoming more and more possible. "The Blues" have a lot of players in the midfield and must decide whether they need another one in this position. Careasso can also act as a right winger, but he has not played as such since the beginning of his stay at CSKA.
The midfielder left the "Reds" in the summer after failing to reach an agreement with the club for a new contract. He played 97 games for the "army" team, scoring 11 goals and making 10 assists.
However, in the fall he played only 74 minutes for Apollon.
In the coming days, developments are expected regarding a possible transfer of Marcelino Careasso to Levski. The same should be true regarding the transfer of Juan Perea from Lokomotiv Plovdiv to "Gerena". Negotiations between the two clubs are in the final stage.
