Six Bulgarian competitors in three different sports will start today in the competitions from the program of the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, BTA reports. The first Bulgarian to start will be alpine skier Kalin Zlatkov, who will participate in the giant slalom in Bormio. The first run is scheduled for 11:00, and the second - for 14:30.

After 15:00 in Antholz-Anterselva, our four biathletes will take part in the 7.5-kilometer sprint - Maria Zdravkova, Lora Hristova, Milena Todorova and Valentina Dimitrova.

The hopes for a strong performance are justified after Hristova won a bronze medal in the individual 20 km event on February 11.

At 19:45 on the large hill in Predazzo, Vladimir Zografski will fight for a higher ranking, after finishing 32nd on the small hill five days ago.

In addition to the events with Bulgarian participation, five more sets of medals will be awarded on the competition day on February 14 – in the women's parallel slalom (skiing freestyle), in the women's 4x7.5 km relay in cross-country skiing, in the men's 500-meter speed skating, in the women's skeleton and in the men's 1500-meter short track.

The program also includes starts in the women's big air (skiing freestyle) discipline, as well as matches from the men's curling and men's and women's ice hockey tournaments.
