Vladimir Zografski achieved the best ranking in the history of Bulgarian ski jumping at the Olympic Games, after taking tenth place in the large hill at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The 32-year-old athlete collected 277.3 points after two jumps of 133.5 meters at the facility in Predazzo. He was moving sixth after the first attempt in a competition that took place in light snowfall, BTA reports.

World champion Domen Prevc triumphed with gold with an asset of 301.8 points. The Slovenian was second after the first jump (138.5 m and 147.0 points), but with the longest attempt in the competition – 141.5 meters in the second round – secured the title. For the 26-year-old Prevc, it was his second gold medal at Milan-Cortina, having also helped Slovenia win the mixed team event.

Ren Nikaido (Japan) took silver with 295.0 points. He led after the first run with 140.0 meters and 154.0 points, but his second jump of 136.5 meters was not enough for the title.

Poland's Katzper Tomaszak came third with 291.2 points (133.0 and 138.5 m), adding another Olympic medal to his silver from the small hill five days ago. Olympic champion in the small hill Philipp Raimund (Germany) finished ninth with 277.4 points (131.0 and 136.0 m).

Defending his title from the 2022 Winter Olympics, Marius Lindvik, performed disappointingly – with a jump of 123.0 meters and 119.3 points, he remained 32nd and did not find a place in the second attempt.

Zografski was 32nd in the small hill, where his highest Olympic achievement up to this point was 14th place from the 2018 Winter Olympics.
