Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal on his return to action and helped Al-Nasr win 2-0 as a guest of Al Fateh in a match from the 21st round of the Saudi championship, BTA reports.
The 41-year-old Portuguese, who missed two championship matches due to a disagreement with the club's transfer policy in January, opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a right-footed shot from the penalty area. The second goal was scored by Ayman Yahia in the 78th minute, making the final 2-0.
With this goal, Ronaldo now has 18 goals in the championship this season and contributed to Al-Nasr reducing its gap to the leader Al-Hilal to just one point. The veteran, who also played for Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus, was replaced deep into stoppage time by Abdullah Al-Hamdan.
