Ten men from Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) reached a dramatic 1:1 draw against Cherno More in a match from the 21st round of the First League. The hero for the “black and whites“ turned out to be the new signing Joel Zvarts, who scored his debut goal in the 90th minute and brought a valuable point to his team.

The hosts were left with a man less in the 24th minute, when Sevi Idriz was sent off with a direct red card. Initially, referee Dimitar Dimitrov showed him a yellow card for a rough tackle on Daniel Martin, but after the intervention of the VAR he changed his decision.

The guests from Varna were more active and took the lead in the 61st minute. After a cross from a corner by Assen Donchev, Georgi Lazarov rose in the penalty area and opened the score with a header - 0:1.

Despite the numerical inequality, the “Smurfs“ did not give up. Shortly after the goal, they were close to equalizing, but Plamen Iliev intervened decisively after a shot by Zapro Dinev, and in the added time the ball hit the post.

The pressure of the hosts at the end paid off. In the last minute of regular time, reserve Joel Zvarts was left uncovered when crossing from a corner and with a precise header sent the ball into the upper right corner for the final 1:1.

After the draw, Cherno More remains fifth with 35 points, and Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) is sixth with two less.
