Ludogorets won 2:1 at home in a match from the 21st round of the First League, achieving the complete turnaround with late goals from Kwadwo Dua and Petar Stanic, BTA reports. The beginning of the match was relatively calm, without serious goal situations. After the middle of the first half, the pressure of the hosts increased, but shots from Ruan Cruz and Caio Vidal were reflected by goalkeeper Jaume Valens. Shortly before the break, a shot by Stanic was also blocked.
The guests from Stara Zagora took the lead in the 52nd minute, when after a cross from a corner by Ismael Ferrer, Alberto Salido scored and surprised the hosts.
Ludogorets responded with massive pressure, but Bernard Tekpetey, Cruz and Dua made mistakes. Substitute Ivaylo Chochev was also close to scoring, and Vidal's shot hit the post.
The equalizer came in the 84th minute. Chochev intercepted Vidal's cross, Valens initially saved, but Dua was accurate in the added time for 1:1. Just three minutes later, Pedro Naresi brought Vidal down the flank, followed by another cross, and Stanic headed the complete turnaround - 2:1.
Thus, the Razgrad team recorded a second consecutive turnaround in the championship, after in the previous round they won 3:1 away at Lokomotiv Sofia.
