Lora Hristova ranks seventh in the pursuit

The title goes to the Italian Lisa Vittozzi

Biathlete Lora Hristova finished in the prestigious seventh place in the 10-kilometer pursuit at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, BTA reports. The Bulgarian started 11th after the sprint, but with impeccable shooting and a time of 30:11.8 minutes, she managed to climb four positions in the final standings.

Milena Todorova, who started fourth, made three mistakes in the standing shooting and finished 14th with a time of 31:57.0 minutes.

The Olympic title was won by the representative of the hosts, Lisa Vittozzi. The 31-year-old Italian hit all 20 targets and also finished in 30:11.8 minutes, winning her first Olympic gold.

The silver medal went to Maren Kirkeide of Norway. The sprint winner led convincingly until the last shot, but there she made two mistakes and fell 28.8 seconds behind the champion.

The bronze went to Finland's Suvi Minkinen, who was faultless at the line and finished 34.3 seconds behind Vitozzi.
