Everton Bala scored two goals, and Akram Bouras scored once. The success allowed the "blues" to maintain their seven-point lead at the top over the champion Ludogorets. Bala now has 11 goals and is tied with Mamadou Diallo from CSKA 1948, being only a goal behind the leader in goalscorers Ivaylo Chochev.
The hosts put pressure on from the start. In the 10th minute, Maicon shot over the bar, and a little later, Armstrong Oko-Flex hit the left post after individual breakthrough. There was also a situation with Buras falling in the penalty area, but referee Lyuboslav Lyubomirov did not award a penalty.
