Bayern Munich achieved their 19th victory since the start of the Bundesliga season, beating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2. Two goals from Harry Kane secured the success, and Vincent Kompany's players had to tremble a lot after the guests reduced the deficit from 0-3 to 2-3, BTA reported.

The Bavarians have 60 points, 9 ahead of Borussia Dortmund, who meet RB Leipzig later today, and can reduce their deficit to 6 before the direct clash between the two teams in the 24th round. Surprisingly, Bayer Leverkusen fell 0-1 on their visit to the mid-table Union Berlin. Third-placed Hoffenheim drew 2-2 at Cologne.

The first goal of the match was scored by Aleksandar Pavlović, who scored from the edge of the penalty area with the help of the wet pitch. Frankfurt goalkeeper Caua Santos again failed to intervene properly and caused disapproving reactions from the team's fans.

In the 20th minute, Harry Kane doubled the home team's lead, heading in a corner kick. In the second half, after a pass from Joshua Kimmich, he made it 3-0, which was his 28th goal of the season and the 501st in his career since playing football. He also threatens Robert Lewandowski's record, who has a season with 41 goals for Bayern. This was the third match in the Bundesliga with exactly two goals for him.

With the tempo on the pitch slightly reduced, the guests pulled one back in the 77th minute, when Jonathan Burkhard scored from the penalty spot. A poor pass by Kimmich allowed Arno Kalimuendo to make it 2:3 in the 86th minute, but the Bavarians held on to the victory.

An incredibly beautiful performance by the strongman Ragnar Ake allowed Cologne to take the lead over Hoffenheim, but in the end the two teams finished 2:2 and the guests are 5 points behind 2nd place. Cologne is in 12th place with 24.

Rani Khedira scored the only goal for Union (Berlin) against Bayer (Leverkusen) before the break, and Augsburg made a turnaround against Wolfsburg and defeated them 3:2. The “Wolves“ are just above the playoff survival zone, one point behind Werder Bremen.
