Milan and Napoli - the pursuers of the leader in the Italian championship Inter - suffered losses today and decided who will win the title. The “Nerazzurri“ already have a ten-point lead at the top.

With a goal from Mariano Troilo in the 84th minute, Parma defeated Milan 1-0 as an away team in a match from the 26th round of the Italian Serie "A" and practically ended the hopes of the "Rossoneri" for the Italian title, BTA reported.

Milan was on a 24-match unbeaten run in Calcio before this match, and head coach Massimiliano Allegri said that 12 wins in the remaining 13 matches would be enough to win the title. However, today's defeat confuses Allegri's calculations, who will now have to hope for 12 wins in 12 matches, as the leader in the standings Inter is already 10 points ahead.

Troilo's goal came after a cross from a corner, in which the Argentine jumped highest and headed the ball into Mike Mengian's goal. The goal was disputed by the home team's players, who had claims for a foul, but after a lengthy review of the situation with the video replay system, no such decision was made.

The loss left Milan with 54 points in the standings in second place. Inter has 64, and third-placed Napoli has 50. Parma is in 12th place with 32 points, with the team on a three-game winning streak.

Earlier todayAtalanta defeated champion Napoli 2-1 in a match from the 26th round of the Italian football championship.

The hosts achieved success in the 81st minute with a goal by reserve Lazar Samardzic, who scored the winning goal with a header after a cross from Lorenzo Bernasconi.

The guests opened the scoring in the 18th minute, when Miguel Gutierrez crossed from a direct free kick, and Sam Boikema was accurate with a header. Four minutes later, Alisson Santos also sent the ball into the net, but the goal was canceled for offside. Shortly after, the hosts requested a penalty for a foul on Mario Pasalic, but after checking with the VAR system, one was not awarded. In the 42nd minute, the referee pointed to the white spot for a foul by Isaac Hien on Rasmus Hoylund, but after reviewing the situation, it was canceled.

At the beginning of the second half, Gutierrez scored again, but his goal was disallowed due to a foul in the attack. This led to the 61st minute, when Pasalic restored the tie, heading in Nikola Zalevski's corner kick. 20 minutes later, Lazar Samardzic made a complete turnaround and brought the victory to the hosts.
