Beroe defeated Montana on their away trip 1:0, taking valuable three points in the fight for survival in the elite. The only goal for Zarali was scored by reserve Marco Bornini from a penalty in the 55th minute. Thus, Beroe overtook Septemvri in the standings and is now 14th with 22 points, while Montana's position is firmly last with 16.
Montana's team started the match much more aggressively, as in the first minute Philippe Ejike took a shot that was saved by Beroe goalkeeper Jaume Valens. Five minutes later, Alexander Todorov from the home team found himself in a clear position, but his poor shot was saved by the visitors' Spanish goalkeeper.
Beroe responded with a direct free kick, in which goalkeeper Marcio Rosa saw the ball at the last moment, but knocked it out for a corner.
