World number 1 Carlos Alcaraz crashed out of the Miami Masters in the round of 32. He lost 3-6, 7-5, 4-6 to Sebastian Korda (USA) in a match that lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The first set was even and one break made the difference in it. He was on the American's account in the 8th game for 5:3, and in the next he closed the part.
In the second set, Korda broke in the third game and at 5:4 was serving for the match, but lost his serve. The same thing happened in his next service game, and Alcaraz took the set 7-5.
There was only one break point in the final set, which was the American's at 3-3. He took advantage of it and broke the Spaniard, then held on to close out the match 6-4.
In the next round, Korda will play the winner of the match between Karen Khachanov (Russia) and Martin Lamdaluse (Spain).
