CSKA almost failed to record a success like that of the Bulgarian national team against the Solomon Islands this morning (10:2), after beating the third division Oborishte (Panagyurishte) 6:0 in the control, which was held at the base of the "red" in Pancharevo.
Leandro Godoy was the top scorer, scoring four goals (19, 21, 51, 84), while Mohamed Brahimi (25) and Facundo Rodriguez (70) added one each.
The home team's coach Hristo Yanev cannot rely on his national players against the seventh-placed team in the South-West Third League.
CSKA could have opened the scoring in the 5th minute after a good attack from the left. It ended with a shot by Godoy from 15 meters out. Seconds later, Eto'o also tried to score, but with a much longer shot that also missed the target.
Another shot by Eto'o followed, leading to the 19th minute, when the home team opened the scoring. Jordao, who was a central defender in the first half, found Pereira with a long pass. The winger brought out the speedy Martino, and the left back found Godoy without delay. Kozmara did not hesitate to shoot immediately and found the net from ten meters.
Only 120 seconds later, the "reds" took advantage of an opponent's mistake to double. Piedraita broke away from the right, face to face with the goalkeeper and could have shot, but did not show selfishness, and passed to Godoy, who was in a clear position. The ram took advantage of the pass and scored his second goal in the check.
In the 25th minute, Martino passed to Pereira. The winger overcame an opponent and crossed sharply on the ground, and Brahimi scored for 3:0.
Ten minutes later, Pereira also had an opportunity to score, but he slipped while wondering how to shoot alone against the goalkeeper and Petkov caught it. Seconds later, Martino found Brahimi, who sent the ball over the goal with a shot from 7-8 meters.
In the 42nd minute, Valchinov overcame Jordao in front of the penalty area and fired a shot on the ground past the left post.
Shortly after the start of the second half, Piedraita broke away from the right and shot from a small angle instead of passing to one of his uncovered teammates, and the Oborishte goalkeeper cleared it.
CSKA continued to dominate and in the 51st minute increased to 4:0. Brahimi fought for the ball in the center of the field, advanced and brought Godoy alone against the goalkeeper, and the ram completed his hat-trick with a shot past the goalkeeper.
Six minutes later, Petkov blocked a dangerous shot by Brahimi from the penalty area with his foot.
The hosts scored another goal in the 70th minute. Iliev crossed from a corner kick, and Rodriguez scored his first goal in the red shirt with a masterful header into the bottom right corner.
That wasn't all, because CSKA also scored in the 84th minute. Godoy took advantage of the goalkeeper's mistake, took the ball away from him and scored his fourth goal in this match into an empty net.
