Roma midfielder Manu Kone (right) remains one of Inter's main transfer targets for next season, reports Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport. The Milan club is planning a new attempt to sign the French international during the summer transfer window.
“The Nerazzurri“ are considering the option of including Davide Fratesi in a possible deal, offering a player swap plus additional financial compensation. Inter already made an offer for Kone last summer, but Roma's management refused to part with the player.
The club is now ready to invest up to 50 million euros to attract the 24-year-old midfielder, and the inclusion of Fratesi could reduce the final transfer fee.
This season, the 26-year-old Fratesi has three assists in 29 games for Inter in all competitions.
