Bulgarian Formula 2 driver Nikola Tsolov said that the chances of him driving in Formula 1 are real, although it is too early to say whether this is possible

Tsolov is participating in the karting endurance race "Eco 12 Hours of Bulgaria" in Haskovo.

"My goal is to have fun and relax a bit. I am very happy to drive here. The goal is always to win, but the most important thing is to spend time with friends. I always see potential in young Bulgarian drivers. It is very cool to see so many karts in one place. It's unique. There are a lot of fast drivers, which makes the race very interesting," he shared in an interview with BNT.

The Bulgarian representative in Formula 2 started the season in a good way, winning the race in Australia.

"The preparation we did before the season was correct. We are in the right rhythm and what we are doing is working. The break should not stop my momentum. I continue to prepare. Now the intensive part of the season begins," the motorist added.

According to him, at the end of the season it will become clear whether he will drive in Formula 1 from next year.

"There are always chances that I will go to Formula 1, but nothing is certain. I hope we continue in the same spirit. It is too early to say whether this is possible. We will see at the end of the year. "For it to happen, there have to be sponsors, Red Bull has to like me and I have to perform well," explained Tsolov.
